Vista 5270 and registry

Hello!
I installed Vista 5270 on my laptop, and it's (i think) a good build.
But I have not a real full acces to the registry, so some software (like
AVG) won't install...

Do you know how to have this fll access ?
Thanks!

Re: Vista 5270 and registry

You need to make sure you are the computer administrator. I'm not at my
machine at the moment so I can't remember off the top of my head - try this:

Start orb - Run - compmgmt.msc and OK.
Local Users and Groups - locate your username - double click and click on
"Member Of" (I think) and change your access rights to "administrator".

All done ) Restart, logon.

Re: Vista 5270 and registry

You might want to enable or disable the User Account Protection service in
Windows Services (services.msc from the Run command), that might be the
cause of it )

Re: Vista 5270 and registry

Don't disable UAC/UAP. Use the "administrator" account to perform the
operation you need the default password is blank. This is not the account
you created during setup.
