| Guest | Glass and the WMP MiniPlayer I've noticed that activating the WMP MiniPlayer toolbar disables the smoked glass effect on the taskbar, even if the MiniPlayer is not visible. I assume this is done for backwards compatibility reasons. Will the MiniPlayer be updated for RTM to not do this? Will other custom toolbars be able to indicate to Windows that they are OK with transparency? I love the smoked glass look, but I love the MiniPlayer even more. Twould be a shame to lose one or the other. |

| Guest | Re: Glass and the WMP MiniPlayer Hey, From what I've found out, I don't think that this will be changed to be honest. It would probably be too difficult and this also happens when the Tablet PC input panel is there. I'll try and find out for you, but I think it's either: a) they know about it and it's been bugged, but might be fixed. b) same as above, but a "known issue" and won't be fixed. c) it's meant to be like that to make it less visually impaired on the buttons. I can only think of that )-- Zack Whittaker Microsoft Beta (Windows Server R2 Beta Mentor) » ZackNET Enterprises: www.zacknet.co.uk » MSBlog on ResDev: http://msblog.resdev.net » ZackNET Forum: www.zacknet.co.uk/forum » VistaBase: www.zacknet.co.uk/vistabase » This mailing is provided "as is" with no warranties, and confers no rights. | Guest | Re: Glass and the WMP MiniPlayer If B is correct that would definitely be a shame. It's still months away from releasing and remember they did announce to make this version to be the "highest quality ever"... | Guest | RE: Glass and the WMP MiniPlayer Hi Chris, This was a bug in the December CTP release (build 5270) that has already been fixed. You will see the fix in the February CTP release.
