Razor Window Side Boarders

Here is an odd thought I suppose. Why do we have such large window boarders
on the left and right of a window. Wouldn't it be interesting to see a theme
with a razor thin 1 pixel boarder or even possibly no boarder on the sides. I
don't think scroll bars would look out of place with no side boarders. I
suppose they would have to be transparent so that when resizing from the
sides there would be something to grip. There must be a way around that
though.

Just a thought,
Thanks!

Re: Razor Window Side Boarders

It's for Aero Glass - the borders are 4px thick I believe, so you can have
the Glass-ness around the window )

Re: Razor Window Side Boarders

Yes, and also for spatial issues too. They don't want Aero windows to look
too cramped.
