Re: Enable Aero Glass

If your card is compatible, right click on the Desktop, select Personalise,
then Display Settings. Check your monitor/graphics card, and if it says WDDM
or LDDM, Glass will work.

Press Ctrl+Shift+F9 to turn it on or off, but make sure you have the theme
"Windows Vista" running.

Re: Enable Aero Glass

Also make sure that 32 bit color is selected, as it is required for Aero
Glass to work...

Re: Enable Aero Glass

Now the minimal display colors is 32-bit, but what about the minimal
resolution for Aero? I believe it's not 800x600, since the current layout of
Aero with the sidebar enabled is not quite viewable for display resolution of
800x600 or less.

I can't find this information in MSDN. If the minimum resolution is
1280x1024, then the Aero is not viable for everyone, since it's not supported
by most CRT displays below 19" or LCDs below 15".

Could you give more information about this and the link/documentation?
