| Guest | can we have quicktabs in windows explorer? now that internet explorer 7 in vista and xp has quicktabs, why can't they be put into the windows explorer shell? it is somewhat annoying to handle with 3 or more explorer windows while you can manage 10 or more open websites easily with the quicktabs. i want at least an option to use quicktabs in explorer... |

| Guest | Re: can we have quicktabs in windows explorer? I know what you mean, and I'll put a suggestion in... however they might just snap back saying you can group them in the Taskbar... having said that, they did it with IE7 and IE7 and Explorer are still very closely combined aren't they... | Guest | Re: can we have quicktabs in windows explorer? i don't want them grouped in the taskbar because there i can't see at one glance which places i have opened [like in IE, firefox]. With grouped tasks in the taskbar, the extra click to see the "tabs" is annoying and time consuming [also in drag and drop scenarios]. Also, there must be an obvious reason why Firefox, IE7 and linux (file-)browsers have a tabbed interface instead of using grouped tasks in the taskbar... | Guest | Re: can we have quicktabs in windows explorer? where do you file the suggestion? i'm not so into windows vista beta testing, i'm only in the beta program because of testing the WinFX framework. there are the lab.msdn.microsoft.com feedback pages to file suggestions and bugs of the winfx framework so is there an equivalent for win vi? | Guest | Re: can we have quicktabs in windows explorer? It's not a WinFX sorta thing, so I'll use the Microsoft Beta Client - that's the only way testers can file bugs at the moment. MSDN subscribers can use the web pages they have access to to file bugs, but I'm not sure where about this is )-- Zack Whittaker » ZackNET Enterprises: www.zacknet.co.uk » MSBlog on ResDev: www.msblog.org » Vista Knowledge Base: www.vistabase.co.uk » This mailing is provided "as is" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
