| | Re: WinFX SDK December CTP install failed I had a similar problem. The log file given when the installation aborted indicated some failure during installation of Compact Framework 2.0. So I unistalled Compact Framework 2.0 and the installation is now proceeding correctly. - Doug > I've unintalled all the Nov CTP and intall Dec. release and the > Components 3.0 is not problem to install but SDK isn't. | | Re: WinFX SDK December CTP install failed Definitely check the log file. Look at the last item before it mentions the failure and that is probably where the problem is. In my case, I needed to uninstall an old version of Monad (Microsoft Command Shell). Did that and it started installing the SDK. | | Re: WinFX SDK December CTP install failed As Douglas mentioned, I too had a problem with the Compact Framework. I read the post after i reinstinalled everything (including VS 2005 ) But itsworking now.... No crashes or error when building apps via Cider, although you can't delete or double-click to go to the code directly (msdn forums on cider has a thread on these limiations). - Keeron "Greg Kerr" wrote: > Definitely check the log file.
