| | XAML on PocketPC Hey gang, I'm not sure if this is the right newsgroup but I am curious about running XAML/XAML+winform applications on Pocket PC. Is this possible? I would like to try it out if it is. I have a Windows Mobile 5.0 PDA/Phone I would like to start experimenting if this is possible. Can you use Expression Interactive Designer (Sparkle is much nicer name ![]() or XAML+Winforms in Visual Studio 2005 to write Pocket PC apps that are much more rich? Thanks and take care! |

| | Re: XAML on PocketPC I saw a Channel9 video of Avalon running on a Dell Axim PPC but I have not been able to re-find the video or any official documentation on this. I would like to know as well what the offical Microsoft standpoint on this issue is. |

| | Re: XAML on PocketPC Yes me too because I think Pocket PC is definately a platform that can benefit from rich applications on PDA's and Smart Phones etc. Maybe it's part of WPF/E? But I cannot find much info on this. | | Re: XAML on PocketPC I would really like to know anything about that as well. I do not get any information about that either. As a producer of Windows CE based devices it may serve as our next generation visualisation platform. I think it will obviously happen. It is just a naturally fit. But I would like see some milestones to be able to make up my plan. If somebody knows - especially you microsoft guys - please let me know. Heinz |
