XAML on PocketPC

Hey gang,

I'm not sure if this is the right newsgroup but I am curious about running
XAML/XAML+winform applications on Pocket PC. Is this possible?

I would like to try it out if it is. I have a Windows Mobile 5.0 PDA/Phone I
would like to start experimenting if this is possible.

Can you use Expression Interactive Designer (Sparkle is much nicer name
or XAML+Winforms in Visual Studio 2005 to write Pocket PC apps that are much
more rich?

Thanks and take care!

the proper place to get information on this?

Thanks and take care!

Re: XAML on PocketPC

I saw a Channel9 video of Avalon running on a Dell Axim PPC but I have
not been able to re-find the video or any official documentation on
this.

I would like to know as well what the offical Microsoft standpoint on
this issue is.

Re: XAML on PocketPC

Yes me too because I think Pocket PC is definately a platform that can
benefit from rich applications on PDA's and Smart Phones etc.

Maybe it's part of WPF/E? But I cannot find much info on this.

Re: XAML on PocketPC

I would really like to know anything about that as well. I do not get
any information about that either. As a producer of Windows CE based
devices it may serve as our next generation visualisation platform.
I think it will obviously happen. It is just a naturally fit. But
I would like see some milestones to be able to make up my plan.

If somebody knows - especially you microsoft guys - please let me know.
