| | Updated WPF blog - with 3D navigation I have updated the WPF blog for June CTP: http://www.valil.com/Valil.Blog/Valil.Blog.xbap The new feature is the blog navigation - use "Navigation" button to enter, click on the left/right "tiles" (even if they are not visible) to navigate and click on the front "tile" to exit navigation mode. -- Valentin Iliescu [MVP - Client Application Development] |

| | RE: Updated WPF blog - with 3D navigation Hi. I have problems getting into your site after the initial loading screen. The error details are available, if you want them. I'm running Vista Beta 2. | | RE: Updated WPF blog - with 3D navigation It will not work in Beta 2 (build 5384), you will need Windows Vista June CTP (build 5456). -- Valentin Iliescu [MVP - Client Application Development] "taidlin" wrote: > Hi. I am having trouble with the navigation. I have the June CTP installed. When I press the "navigation" button, I see two pages, but I can only click on the one which was opened previously (the one standing in front). I cannot see the other page. Additionally, the animation is extremely slow, as opposed to the animation used to display the books, which works great. Any idea? | | Re: Updated WPF blog - with 3D navigation Thank you for your feedback, Laurent. Regarding the speed: The navigation uses VisualBrush, the books are just Images so the navigation will be slower. What is the configuration of the computer (CPU, RAM, GPU)? The animation works fine on a P4 with 512 MB RAM and a GeForce FX 5200. Regarding the navigation: You have to click in the empty space on the left of the main page (where a page would be). It is a little unintuitive, so I will change the behaviour when I am going to update the application for July (August?) CTP. -- Valentin Iliescu [MVP - Client Application Development] "Laurent Bugnion" wrote: > Hi, > > viliescu wrote: > > I have updated the WPF blog for June CTP: > > > > http://www.valil.com/Valil.Blog/Valil.Blog.xbap > > > > The new feature is the blog navigation - use "Navigation" button to enter, > > click on the left/right "tiles" (even if they are not visible) to navigate > > and click on the front "tile" to exit navigation mode. > > I am having trouble with the navigation. | | Re: Updated WPF blog - with 3D navigation Man, this is great work. Thanks for making it available? Any chance you've made the source available, and I've overlooked the location of the files? If not, could you make it available?? ::: systim out ::: "viliescu" wrote: > Thank you for your feedback, Laurent. > > Regarding the speed: The navigation uses VisualBrush, the books are just > Images so the navigation will be slower.
