Changing default view of .xaml files... feature request?

Now that everyone has switched to the December CTP and has Cider built
into VS2005, a really nice feature would be the ability to pick your
default view ("Designer", "Xaml" or "Source") when opening XAML files.
Even better, when you close a .xaml file, VS should remember which
view you were in and reopen that one the next time you open the file.

I for one am still coding in XAML and can't stand the fact that the
"Design" view is always the one that opens. Additionally, half the time
Cider can't even display what I'm working on, and it hangs for 3-4
seconds before giving me the error page. That's what's really getting me...

Any thoughts?

Jason

Jason-
Please make sure to register this feedback in the Cider forum:
http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/Sho...D=169&SiteID=1
In the meantime you can right click on the XAML file in the project system
and select "Open With", choose the XML editor and press the "Set as Default"
button.
