Vista - Urgent

Hi,
I am new in winfx. My query is that I want to generate a query.
In which the table name and the field name is passed by the user. Like
suppose user inputs employee(tablename) and Id(field name) then I have
to generate query like "Select Id from employee" and suppose he types
employee(tablename) the query is "Select * from employee". And I also
want to know that .net provides any special features for query
generation as above.
