| Guest | Pivot with ListView using GridView Hi, I have an interesting problem at hand. I have a collection of custom objects which I want to group by a specific property and display in a ListView WPF control. This is pretty straightforward with XAML using a CollectionViewSource object to bind to the ListView, so far so good. The problem is that I want each group of items to be displayed in its own column in a GridView. In other words I want to rotate my collection of objects into columns based on the value of a specific property, like it can be done using SQL or Excel Pivot tables. I have tried to apply styles to the GroupItem controls that gets created in the ListView when binding to a grouped collection but the whole list of items is always displayed in the same column. Any ideas of how this could be done? -- Thanks in advance /Enrico |
