| | MediaElement Scrubbing Issue I am having an issue with scrubbing in a MediaElement. I have a MediaElement displayed for the user, along with a slider that allows you to navigate the video in the MediaElement. ScrubbingEnabled is set to true on the MediaElement. The slider has specific tick marks that, if navigated to, will cause the video to pause if it is currently playing. Otherwise, the video will remain paused if it is already paused, and remain playing if it is already playing. The problem occurs in the first case, when the video is playing but is then paused and seeks to another location. The frame that is displayed is not updated, and instead shows the last played frame from when the video was playing. The problem occurs maybe 75% of the time. The problem does not occur in either of the other two cases. So, I am looking for suggestions on how to fix this issue, and I am wondering if it is perhaps a bug in MediaElement itself. I have tried seeking before pausing the video, and also vice versa. I have even tried pausing the video twice, before and after seeking, and seeking twice, before and after pausing. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks, - Nick |
