| | UserControl inside another UserControl with WYSIWYG Hey, Does anyone have a pointer to a simple example of a UserControl being used inside another UserControl where you can see to composite result in the XAML design window using the Orcas CTP? Thanks in advance, Jan |

| | RE: UserControl inside another UserControl with WYSIWYG Hi Jan The best solution is to make a "Custom Control". Don't use "User Controls"! The biggest WPF limitation in "User Controls" is that you can't give them a "Name"! And to put controls with WYSIWYG dosn't work without a lot lines of code. The Argument <ComponentModel.Designer("System.Windows.Forms.Design.ParentControlDesigner, System.Design", GetType(ComponentModel.Design.IDesigner))> _ Dosn't work win Framework 3.0. Do it this way: Public Class MyContainerControl Inherits System.Windows.Controls.Grid End Class Best regards Horst |
