How to anchor fields (like .Net 1-2). Is MinWidth/MaxWidth the answer?

Hi

I would like to anchor my fields in the same way as in .Net 1 and .Net 2. I
have tried to work with MinWidth and MaxWidth but I cannot make it work.

I know that I can acheive something similar using '*' in grid and/or use
StackPanel/DockPanel, but I woud like to be able to designate a size and
then let the field resize when its parent resizes

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance
Soeren D.

Hi!

You should use the Margin properties and set HorizontalAlignment to Stretch
(VertilAlignment too)
Also use the padding property of the container.

Cheers,
