using external assemblies in XAML

Hello

I am using an external class library "Common" to use a 3d button
control in XAML.

<?Mapping XmlNamespace="Local" ClrNamespace="Ribbon" ?>

<Window
xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/avalon/2005"
xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/xaml/2005"
xmlns:common="clr-namespace:Common;assembly=Common"

xmlns:local="Local"
x:Class="Ribbon.Window1"
Title="HelloWorld"
Loaded="OnLoaded" WindowState="Maximized"

>

I am instantiating the 3d control from the common library as follows :

<common:Button3DSpinner Name="DarkBlueButton" Selected="OnDarkBlue"
Brush3D="{StaticResource DarkBlueBrush}" Text3D="{StaticResource
DarkBlueText}" Width="100" Height="30"/>

where Button3DSpinner is the name of the control.

However visual studio gives me error :

Error 57 Unknown tag 'Button3DSpinner' in namespace 'Common'. Note that
tag names are case sensitive.

Error 16 Type 'common:Button3DSpinner' could not be found. Are you
missing an assembly reference?

We are using Jan CTP SDK and Jan CTP runtime and Visual Studio 2005.

Re: using external assemblies in XAML

Hello

Yes... you are right!!! I have copied it from the Feb CTP example.

Is there any way to use this feature in the Jan CTP.

Thanks

Madhur
