| Guest | compound pens in WPF Hi, In GDI+ it was possible to create compound pens using SetCompoundArray. Is this possible in WPF? I've only just started poking around, but it looks like the idea of pens/brushes is gone and has been replaced by just brushes. Is that correct? If it is possible, would anyone be able to tell me where in the relevant docs I could look to find some info? Cheers, Ad. |

| Guest | Re: compound pens in WPF Pens really are just brushes with a thickness. One alternative idea, depending on what you're trying to accomplish would be to use the OnRender method of UIElement and custom draw the lines needed to make the CompoundArray pen. Depending on the complexity of the shape however, I realize that could be extremely complicated. Unfortunately, the Pen class is sealed so you can't override its behavior. --Aaron http://www.wiredprairie.us <avesty@gmail.com> wrote in message news:1173721029.941059.311430@n33g2000cwc.googlegroups.com... > Hi, > > In GDI+ it was possible to create compound pens using > SetCompoundArray.
