| | Tab control with vertical header text I am trying to have a tab control with the tabs on the left, but I want the text to be displayed vertically instead of horizontally. I've looked at 1000 samples tonight and I have not seen anything with vertical text but I though I remembered seeing something before. I am using Expression Blend so it may be as simple as just something that is not supported in V1 yet. Does anyone have a link to a sample of tabs like I want, or verticaly oriented text? BTW, I have tried using transforms, and if that is the solution, causing the containers to co-operate is not obvious. M |

| | Re: Tab control with vertical header text Using a DataTemplate, and a HeaderTemplate, it's easy (if I understand what you're asking for). I've posted a sample here: http://www.wiredprairie.us/journal/2...abcontrol.html Hope that helps. --Aaron "Mike Partain" <someone@gmail.com> wrote in message news:77A70A13-F504-43DE-AED9-EB1585E4603C@microsoft.com... >I am trying to have a tab control with the tabs on the left, but I want the >text to be displayed vertically instead of horizontally. | | Re: Tab control with vertical header text I think that will help a ton. Not sure what I was doing wrong but when i tried what i thought was the same thing, i would get the label rotated, but the 'header container' was still treating it as if it was horizontal as far as sizing and spacing. Maybe i was just transforming the text within the content presenter, that could be. Anyhow, thanks a bunch. I now know it works ![]() "WPCoder" <coder_antispam@wiredprairie.us> wrote in message news:uMSpMrVbHHA.1240@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... > Using a DataTemplate, and a HeaderTemplate, it's easy (if I understand > what you're asking for). > > I've posted a sample here: > > http://www.wiredprairie.us/journal/2...abcontrol.html > > Hope that helps. > > --Aaron > > > "Mike Partain" <someone@gmail.com> wrote in message > news:77A70A13-F504-43DE-AED9-EB1585E4603C@microsoft.com... >>I am trying to have a tab control with the tabs on the left, but I want >>the text to be displayed vertically instead of horizontally.
