Vista - Creating a ControlDesigner for a WPF Control - How to?

I've tried to post my question in the generic MSDN forums, I'll really
appriciate it if you could give me directions or any other usefull
information.

I want to create a custom control designer in order to control the
properties on
design time, catch design-time events and handle it better, and add something
like SmartTags / ActionList to the control.
