| | MediaElement MediaOpened Event Problems Hi I have created a MediaElement programmatically and added it to an ElementHost within a windows form. I am attempting to load the video in the background before making it visible and playing it. I have created a AutoResetEvent which I use to determine when play may start. That is, I set the MediaElement source property, then call WaitOne on my AutoResetEvent. I expect the MediaElement to load in the background, then call the MediaOpened event. Within this event I set the AutoResetEvent, so allowing the load and play function to continue. The problem that I am experiencing is that unless the control is visible and play has been pressed, the MediaOpened event never fires. Has anyone any thoughts as to a workaround for this? Thanks James |
