| | RichTextBox / XPSDocuments Can the RichTextBox display rtf content? If so how is it assisgned? As far as I can see the DocumentViewer and various Text controls only display XAML markup. If that is so:- Is there any way to convert rtf or office docs to XAML? Will Office12 save XPSDocuments directly that can be loaded by DocumentViewer? Will Sparkle open Office docs and spit out XAML? Am I right in thinking that new printer drivers are required to print XPSDocuments? Are there any good blogs on XPSDocuments? Thanks MIchael |

| | Re: RichTextBox / XPSDocuments Items previously posted on these subjects: 1) The Vista drivers will use XPS as the spooling format. Legacy drivers will use what ever they use. 2) In the next drop of WPF we should be able to read/write RTF from RichTextBox. 3) Office will be able to save to XPS and PDF but it is one-way output only. 4) Sparkle is a XAML editor so I would not expect it to input office documents. It will open XPS documents, but they are so low level that it could be painful to edit them. For example all the text is rendered down to Glyphs rather than being editable text.
