| | Using Visual Studio (R) 2005 for WPF but W/O Using Extensions Using Visual Studio (R) 2005 for WPF but W/O Using Extensions Hi, I would like to use Visual Studio (R) 2005 for WPF development. However the license of the Visual Studio 2005 Extensions for the .Net Framework 3.0 specifies app distribution restrictions. So I plan to use Visual Studio 2005 to develop for WPF e.g. manually create project file or use SDK sample) but I do not plan to use the extensions. Are there any licensing restrictions on this? I would think not. Also, it seems that most posts on using Visual Studio (R) 2005 for WPF development include installing the extensions as a step. I think that using Visual Studio 2005 without the extensions should be mentioned as another fine option (if indeed it is OK). (I also posted this in Visual Studio area since it relates to both topics). |
