How to disable XAML Visual Designer

Hi,

I?d like ask, if someone know, how to disable XAML Visual Designer or to change the default association from Visual Designer to XAML Editor or Code Editor. I am using custom controls from another project and it seems that current version of Visual Designer does not support this. As I select a file in VS, it shows me errors and I always have to switch manually the view.

Thank you in advance.

Tim

PS: Designer is not able to locate the assembly which is copied from the other project.

Re: How to disable XAML Visual Designer

If you right click on the .xaml file and select "open with...", Find the
"XML editor" or something similar and click set as default.
