WinFx Splitter control?

I searched this newsgroup and didn't find much except some comment on WinForm
integration. Is there a way to add splitters to a WinFx GUI without WinForm
integration? I would hope so.

Also, what about dockable floating windows?

While there are some pretty powerful controls, there seems to be some basic
functionality missing in WinFx. I would not expect to have to buy third
party tools in order to get this functionality.

Use a Grid for your layout, and then add a GridSplitter in one of the cells.

Not without you doing some programming. It's not very complicated to do,
though.

Mostly, the controls are available, but you need to find them (see the
GridSplitter example). WPF is a brand new framework, and pretty much
everything you learned in WinForms can be happily forgotten :-)

One control is notoriously missing: DataGrid. There is a free one by
XCeed, a paying one by Infragistics, and one in the works at Microsoft.
No release date announced however.
