| | UI Virtualization vs Grouping Hi, The current (Feb CTP) implementation of ListBox does not use UI Virtualization as soon as its Items collection is grouped. This can be a showstopper for a lot of usage scenarios for the ListBox... Can we expect a solution to this from Microsoft for v1 of WPF? Or is there a documented workaround somewhere? The only reference I could find for this problem is this post from December 2005 [1]... Thanks! Pascal [1] http://groups.google.com/group/micro...f6d6b85d6322d9 |

| | Re: UI Virtualization vs Grouping Actually, as soon as I add a GroupStyle to the ListBox (even if the Items collection is not grouped), the ListBox uses a regular StackPanel instead of a VirtualizingStackPanel to layout its ListBoxItems. For the record, I filed a bug for this: http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/produc...8-bc10ecea4666 Pascal Pascal Bourque wrote: > Hi, > > The current (Feb CTP) implementation of ListBox does not use UI > Virtualization as soon as its Items collection is grouped.
