UI Virtualization vs Grouping

Hi,

The current (Feb CTP) implementation of ListBox does not use UI
Virtualization as soon as its Items collection is grouped. This can be a
showstopper for a lot of usage scenarios for the ListBox... Can we
expect a solution to this from Microsoft for v1 of WPF? Or is there a
documented workaround somewhere?

The only reference I could find for this problem is this post from
December 2005 [1]...

Actually, as soon as I add a GroupStyle to the ListBox (even if the
Items collection is not grouped), the ListBox uses a regular StackPanel
instead of a VirtualizingStackPanel to layout its ListBoxItems.
