RE: bug: User access denied

Can you try to empty the ClickOnce cache?

Run this command: "mage -cc" (it's in \Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio
8\SDK\v2.0\Bin)

or

delete the all the content in
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Apps\2.0

I tried those two options to no avail. I even threw some logout / login
of the user along with a couple of reboots to be on the safe side. Still
no go.

The machine is a VPC, would that make a difference?

Re: bug: User access denied

Is this on Windows XP or Windows Vista? Do you have permissions to create a
file or folder in the ClickOnce app store location? Can you manually delete
the app store, kill dfsvc.exe and try again?

Re: bug: User access denied

I am having the same problem. Is "C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local
Settings\Apps" the clickonce app store you are referring to? If yes then I do
have permission to create files and folders in it and emptied it and tried to
run xbap apps again but they would still not run. However I do not see
“dfsvc.exe” running on my computer.
