| | How to implement percent height & width in a custom control? Hi, I would like to implement percent Height and Width in my custom controls. My problem is I don't know how to get the custom control's parent and how to subscribe to the event triggered whenever the parent's size changes. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Joan |

| | Re: How to implement percent height & width in a custom control? All controls receive the Parent property from FrameworkElement base class. You can use the Parent property to access the Control that contains the current element. As for notification of Parent`s size changing... Be aware that a Layout pass will automatically occur each time the Parent changes... All you need to do is change your MeasureOverride() and ArrangeOverride() methods to consider the Parent`s size... joan wrote: > Hi, > > I would like to implement percent Height and Width in my custom controls.
