| | MediaElement is playing half of what WMP can Hi I have media files ( avi, mpeg wmv ). Windows media player is rendering better and playing more of them. MediaElement plays some mpeg's and some it's not. Is there any way that I can force to ME to play at least what Media player is playing? |

| | Re: MediaElement is playing half of what WMP can Hi, I'm afraid you have a very little chance. If you are advanced on DirectShow, WPF Hackery! (http://jmorrill.hjtcentral.com/Home/...4/Default.aspx) could help you a bit. But I too call for significantly improvements in media WPF handling! I think it is the most forgotten part in the released version of WPF.
