Whoops - how to start in Xaml view instead of Design view?

On double-clicking a xaml-file in my c#-project the design view of the
file opens.

Usually for me this just ready 'Whoops! [...]', and I'm quite used to
work in xaml view anyway.

Is there anyway to have the xaml view come up first, so I don't have to
wait a few seconds for 'whoops' just to view the xaml?

Thanks,
Sam

I'm not sure how do default to XAML view. But if you are happy to live without
the visual designer then there are two options I know of.

either: Don't install Cider / Orcas extensions.
or: Right click -> "Open With" -> "XML Editor" -> "Set as Default"

Doug,

setting the XML Editor as default works nicely for me, thanks a lot!
