| Vista Home Premium | Windows Mail Hi there I use windows mail and when i click an email link on a website outlook loads instead, is there a way to make windows mail load instead. I have windows mail set as my default but outlook opens instead. thanks |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Windows Mail Hi Code_One, Welcome to Vista Forums. ![]() Double check using this tutorial that Windows Mail has all of it's default associations set to it. I have seen reports that Outlook will sometimes make itself the default email program automatically when it updates itself. You would then have to set Windows Mail back again each time. Windows Mail Default Associations Also, check this setting in Outlook: 1. Click Tools, then Options. 2. Click Other tab. 3. Uncheck Make Outlook the default........ 4. Click OK.
