| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Where are my cookies? Hot d...! At the risk of sounding ignorant once more, can anybody tell me where/how I can access cookie files in VISTA. Got "show all hidden files" enabled" and in Search I checked "show all hidden....."; am logged in as administrator and still can't find cookie folders. Am on IE7 now but had Firefox for a while and suspect there are a few cookies left from Firefox I want delete manually; I know I can dump 'em all but I don't want to do that. |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Where are my cookies? Well it didn't work in "SEARCH" but it did work in "RUN"; seems like all cookies are visible. But when I try the same path in COMPUTER that particular folder (cookies) will not show. C:\Users\"name"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies Must be another VISTA thing! Thanks much for your time. |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Where are my cookies? One more thing, when I look in the COOKIES folder, on the very bottom where it shows the number of files it also states on the right "RESTRICTED SITES" with the corresponding icon. Thought I had everything enabled for me to see all files as an administrator but obviously not, as I can't view that folder in COMPUTER. Any suggestions? |

| Vista Home Premium 32-bit & Vista Ultimate 64-bit both Service Pack 2 W7 Pro RTM 7600 32 & 64 | Re: Where are my cookies? Try following the instructions in my tutorial 'How to Import & Export Favorites in IE7'. Although this tutorial concentrates on the favorites, you can use the same procedure for cookies (and feeds, if you so wish). Cookies are backed up into a text file, and you can edit that file as normal using Notepad. The edited file can then be re-imported, again following the instructions in my tutorial. There should be a similar function to import & export in Firefox and other browsers, so you might like to try the appropriate function for your browser.
