I don't know where you got that information. I do know that, if you want to see the issues that are of concern to the Firefox 3 developers, the latest information (as of 20 May 2008) is found at:

FF3 should be released in June. They dont normally wait for plugin devs to catch up.

I've been using Firefox 3 for over a week now...it's really nice.

Luckily, the plugins I had installed on Firefox 2 carried themselves over into Firefox 3....there were even updates that FF itself asked to do (in regards to the plugins) so i'm quite pleased....

...that makes me wonder, though....cause on a fresh install of Firefox 3, I can't actually install these plugins (it gives an error of the plugin being incompatible)...so I wonder why it carried over.

I guess if it lets you install the add-on...I didn't find anything on the Mozilla add-ons site to identify if a particular add-on does work with Firefox 64bit...
