Hello Vitotherm, welcome to the forums,

the first thing i would check is that the power options on the NIC you're using is set to disable vista's ability to switch of the NIC

you may also wish to disable the NIC you are not using. and see if this makes a difference.

Hi vitotherm,

yes that's the one, obviously by the image it is switched off, so shouldn't be causing a problem

which of the two NIC's are you using Wired or Wireless? I run both here, together at times for testing, with no problems but have heard of cases where an unused NIC will need to be disabled in device manager, as it can lead to Vista getting confused and dropping connection. is the drop out you're having consistent or intermittent

i have uninstalled it and did get a refund from them...but wich settings did it change

Hi,

the program may have made logs, but if you've un-installed it they would probably be gone now. the only thing that may be an option is system restore to a point before you used the registry cleaner. but of course the longer this is the more things a restore will undo.

the only reg cleaner I trust is the one in CCleaner and even then I use the option to save a backup before I run it

If you have windows home server you may not need anything else :D. I don't claim to be familiar with WHS but as I understand it it handles "Disaster Recovery" using image files, Which could (should?) contain a working copy of the registry. If you check the console and check on recovery options for your PC you may be able to fix it that way.

You could try a System File Check although if it is registry related doubt if that will help or if all else fails a repair install may be the only option left
