These spam emails are designed to get around your spam filter by changing sender addys with each sending. Have you gotten one from yourself yet. I have. Any email address can be add as sender to any email. Thus, there is really nothing you can do about it. No it's probably not spyware, just the way spammers operate. Don't know what email client you are using, but most have some way of making rules to send things to junk folder. Maybe something like 'any email containing casino in the subject'. Still a good idea to look through that folder for anything you need.

you could always try Spam Filter for Outlook and Express, Windows Mail, Thunderbird and Servers - SPAMfighter it is free.

Trust me, your not alone. I use outlook. I have mine set to consider everything as junk until I add it to the safe senders list. Can't remember if live mail has that setting.

Yeah, I get those with my email address on the From line to. Weird, they send me a scam, use my email as a reply, and expect me to read it ? Nuts.

gotta love that junk mail. i use gmail and it catches most junk mail with no issues. i get maybe 1 or 2 a week that slip through and go to my inbox
