Internet Explorer typing issue!!

I found a previous thread on this topic, but am posting a new one beause I did not find a solution within it.

I am running IE on Vista and have been for 1 year on the same computer (Dell Inspiron 1525) and last night these problems began.

When I type in my email (Hotmal, Gmail) and other text boxes, it is very slow and misses letters, though the issue is not with the keyboard itself.

Did this problem ever get figured out, and if so could someone please tell me how? Nothing seems to solve it.

It could be any number of things. First comes to mind is, any recent updates from MS. Sometimes those updates do some harm before they do good. Such as the ones your experiencing. Next thing would be to clean and debug you system form malware, spyware and adware issues along with viruses that are some times hidden. Then the next thing to check would be a complete system cleaning with an all in one utilities program like Advance System Care 3 or TuneUp Utilities 2009 for regular biweekly care. Then defrag harddrive and registry. Then reboot system. Regular system maintenance should be done at least once a month for lite users and biweekly for intermediate users and weekly for heavy users. Of course this is just my opinion but start with these and post results.

Is your system fully updated? [ Windows, Anti Virus etc.]

Have you tried this?
IE> Tools> Manage add-ons, disable all add-ons.

Then if your problem disappears, re-enable add-ons one at a time until the problem returns and you've found the guilty party.
[The troublesome program may not show up as an add-on. Disable other non-essential, third-party programs such as ad-blockers, appearance tweakers, etc to see if one of them is causing the problem.]

Have you tried another browser eg Firefox to see if the problem still exists?
