Windows mail stoped sending and recieving mail from my pop3 server. I can log into the servers website to read mail but cannot down/upload to my computer. The Internet provider is not able to help as the problem seems to be on my computer.
I have successfully used this mail for 2 years until last 3 weeks. Help anyone? Kapsa:)

Mind if I join in with the questions? I'm not trying to hijack or anything, but I have a similar issue. Well, same problem, but I am brand new to Vista and Windows Mail. Seems it doesn't want to reach the pop server and times out. I have yet to successfully use Windows Mail. Have used OE6 for many years.

Error:
Account: 'SBC Yahoo Mail', Server: 'pop.att.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC19

I am able to ping both pop and smtp servers.

Thanks!

C.

Open eleveted command prompt and type

netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled hit enter.
