Can't email normally

I can not email by clicking on a link that says for example "contact us"
I have to copy the adress and paste it in an email account that I have opened.
What's up with that? Think I need a new lap top. I have the acer
Please help!

Have you changed any of the IE8 settings? Try go to Internet Explorer and setting the security setting to default and applying. Otherwise you'll need to register some dll's.

Click start, type internet option until you see it come up in the start menu, then click it and in the security tab make sure its the default.
