Corrupted hyperlinks in Windows mail

As a part of a function I have administering a community web site, I periodically send out messages with hyperlinked text. Some time ago, the links occasionally got corrupted, and now it's happening almost constantly.

By corrupted I mean that when the sent message is accessed there is a lot of added garbage text in the hyperlink.

Also in some instances, the hyperlink text is deleted.

Thank.

Okay, this is just a guess. In Outlook, I can send emails as plain text, html, or rich text. Do you have these options?

Yes, I'm using rich text.

I should have added that the links in the messages I sent contained pasted text from previously sent messages. This was done because of the frequency of the mailings I do, and the fact that this made it simpler than relinking the text again. In the original messages the links worked, and I rechecked the hyperlink text again before I pasted it, and it was still good.
