Pop-up blockers

I hope someone can help me. A few days ago, Windows Internet Explorer started blocking my pop-ups in my gmail account. For example, if there is a link in an e-mail, it will not let me click on it ... I get a message saying a pop-up was blocked. I have tried turning pop-up blocker off and am still getting the message and cannot follow the link. Furthermore, when I try to view all blocked pop-ups, I cannot click on that either! Is anyone else having this problem and does anyone know a solution?

What are your internet settings like? Are you set to high? If you are back it down to medium, and set it to allow cookies from gmail. Hope this helps.
