When trying to get into my windows mail I keep getting a message that another instance of this application is running that I need to restart my computer, which I do but it doesn't fix the problem. When I go into task manager windows mail is running but when I end that process it doesn't do anything.
Any suggestions???

Hello Hank, and welcome to Vista Forums.
You might see if doing a system restore using a restore point dated before this started may be able to fix this for you.
If not, then use PROBLEM TWO in the tutorial below to backup your Windows Mail messages and settings. Next, reset Windows Mail. If you cannot get the Windows Mail (winmail.exe) process stopped first to do this, then you may need to do it in Safe Mode instead.
