I have one question. Are ALL the bugs fixed so that I can fianlly get up the nerve to d/l IE8 on my Vista machine. I've heard so many horror stories that I'm scared.

I cannot speak for others, but I have no problems. Problems posted in this forum, were mostly corrected. I would take a chance, you will like it.
If you do not like it, you can always download another like Firefox or Chrome. You are not locked into your selection.
