Internet Explorer 7 Error

I am new to this forum and have a bit limited knowledge of computers/laptops. Just installed Windows Vista on my Dell Inspiron laptop. It’s a new laptop, I bought it 3 months ago from Walmart through Dealrocker.com online deal. I am running Internet Explorer 7 and sometimes it suddenly minimizes to the task bar when I click on a link or any other part of the window. Can't figure out how to fix the glitch.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forum

Personally I would just update straight to IE8 because it's newer and supposedly faster and more secure.

However if you don't want to do this then please ensure your browser is up to date (within the major version) and then make sure Windows is totally up to date.

Please post back with any success.

Oli

I would agree with that, otherwise consider Firefox, Opera or Safari. IE isn't a good Internet Browser.
