Uninstall Internet Explorer 8?

Hello,
I've been trying to uninstall Internet Explorer 8, but when I click "Yes", nothing happens. The dialogue box just goes away. Any advice?

Welcome to Vista Forums.

Go to "installed updates" and type "internet explorer 8" into the search field. You can it remove from there. Here's a tutorial on removing Windows updates:

  2. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  3. Click Uninstall a Program under the Programs category

    Note If Windows Internet Explorer 8 does not appear in the list of installed updates, try the alternative steps for Windows Vista or for Windows Server 2008.
  6. In the Uninstall an update dialog box, click Yes.

  7. Follow the instructions to uninstall Internet Explorer 8.
