I installed the updated firefox 3.6.8. and it crashed everytime I tried to use it.
The main page came on for a few seconds and then crashed.
I have now reverted to an older version and this one works like before.
Just an "heads up"

I like playing a LOT of video games. I also like to play with friends, study to learn, and learn new things. :)
What is the latest on the 3.6.8 release feedback. Reason for asking is that Yahoo is forcing me to find alternatives for everything I attempt to do. Allow me to explain:
I have been using Yahoo for years, generally no problems but a few hicups here an there; then it all started last week.

Was unable to check Yahoo mail for (4) days; webpage would load eventually but missing the arrow icons and would not load secondary data for the displayed pictures, when I clicked on mail to go to the logon page it would result in an unable to connect diagnostic window, unable to check email for 4 days. Other web pages would connect instantaaniously. Finally on Fri AM everything came back to normal.
I had tried Google Chrome but it wouldn't retain customized settings.

When attempting to use Yahoo Messenger for video call overseas it would say that on my wifes computer the version of messenger she was using did not have video cabibility; when attempting voice call with her it would connect for about 10 sec and then disconnect. Attempting to connect again would result in a continual "connecting" "waiting to connect". We ended up having to do texting, daughter extremily upset that she didn't/couldn't see daddy. Enough is enough!! I downloaded and installed skype and we had immediate video and audio call just like it should be.

Yesterday sent pictures to my son, because of the 25MB limit had to send them in 3 batches. He got the first set; the second and third set was Daemon failure to deliver because of exceeds size. The 2nd set was 23MB, the 3rd was 18MB. Origanally we thought that it might be 25MB per day limit so I tried to resend them this AM and once again they were returned because of size, so I sent them using MSN evan tho they have a 10MB limit the three sets all went thru.

Am seriously looking for an alternative to Yahoo, tried MSN but don't like the choices of customizing. Am using Vista Ultimate 64. Looking for feedback on other options.
