    How to keep web pages maximized

    When I visit sites I always have to maximize the page. When I visit it again I have to max it again. Is there a setting to keep the pages maximized?

    Try this

    When the wrong size, stretch it to make it look normal
    Then right click on the upper right, by the X. Then click on maximize.The shut down from the File tab (exit)


    Click on the exploer Icon (not short cut) properties, make sure set to open full size (maximized).

    Thanks for your replies Rich but nothing has worked for me. I went into properties and set to maximize.

    It's seems odd that the solutions/links posted on this Vista Forum always mentions XP and Window 7, but never Vista.

    Is there anything else I can try?

    Ill be honest. This is a problem with Windows. Since my Windows 98, there have been many, suggestions to stop the problem. None seem to work, however.

    If you use FireFox type About:Config in the address bar click enter
    When you get the message click I'll be careful
    go to this key and see if it is set the same as this.

    browser.enable_automatic_image_resizing;true
    browser.zoom.full;true

    Have you tried the old standby? Open the window you want maximized, put your cursor on one of the 4 edges, and drag out to the edge of the screen. Repeat with each of the other 3 edges. Close the window and reopen. It should be maximized, if not, close and reopen again. XP and Vista are programmed to change window size this way. (I think Microsoft may have changed this for Windows 7 though, to the method described by richc46 above.)
