Hello, hope someone can help as I don't know much about computers. I have a compaq presario with vista premiuim home edition. I recently moved and after comcast came out and connected me everything worked fine for a few days. Then I started getting a message that my homepage address was invalid. When I clicked "more information" it reads that windows DEP detected an add on trying to use system info incorrectly. I tried running IE(8 by the way) with no add ons but that did not work. I've tried just about every tip I can find on the web with no luck. Comcast suggested I tried running the modem through the wireless router I was using at my last place but that didn't work either. Also, windows security will not work. Please help!!

Please post the entire error message, not just the error code which is useless in most cases.
