System restore, will my mail be deleted?

Hi again all,

I'm doing an Acronis system recovery and was wondering how this will affect my windows live mail past mail.

For instance I have allot of information in old mail such as passwords, order numbers and so on which I regularly refer to.

Is this all stored online and wont be affected or is it on my system somewhere and will be deleted in the recovery process?

Any advice would be much appreciated as always.

Cheers.

We need more information
There are 3 types of back ups
One is just your personal documents etc
The second is your OS
The third is your hard drive.

What did you back up?

Well, Acronis true image home 2009 "My backups" section says the "method" is a "full backup" so I'm assuming that is all of the above.

However, this restore point was created by the manufacturer before the system was shipped to me, so will contain no files other than what was on the machine at the date I received it, so will have backed up none of my mail IF it is stored on the machine.

Just wanted to know if there is a folder on my computer that stores my mail I have to copy or export to save my past e-mails or whether its stored online?

Thanks.

The mail may be affected by the restore. It is easy to back up mail, but you may not have to.

How do you get your mail?
With a client, Live Mail, etc.?
If so, is it POP3 or IMAP?

or maybe you do not use a client.
If you do not use a client (such as named above) and you go right to the website to get the mail, and cannot read mail if you are not online; no need to back up.

I use live mail, it has multiple work and personal e-mails adresses attached to that live account, both other live accounts and hotmail accounts which I view with the live mail application icon on my desktop.

Im unsure whether its POP3 or IMAP, how would I find this out?

How would I go about backing this up?

Thanks very much for your help/answers!
