browser question?

i have noticed that when i down load a program, that alot of the programs say for interexplr, or firefox, ect.ect. i use google for my default browser, my question is, can that effect me, cause my browser is not listed as a choose? should i use a diff browser? is 1 better than the other, how does a person dside what 1 he or she likes?

That seems like a fair question
IE is the built browser. It is made with Windows in mind and works great, not many problems. We have tutorials on IE that can help you if necessary.
I use IE and if you have problems or questions I can help a lot better if it is an IE question. A lot of members use IE, they can offer help.
Its fast and efficient with Windows.
I think its better to have one, to learn the ropes, but then you can change if you do not like it.
If we are going to start with one, might as well be IE,
IE9 is coming out soon, we can learn together.

do u know of any reason y ie would be realy slower that google? i just changed defaults and it is a noticabl amount, did i 4get to cross a t, or . an i?

Is it IE8?
If you are using IE8 and are not happy with the performance, pick another Browser, but stay with the one. Learn how to use it get comfortable, then you can start to make changes.

IE8 is the most current, see how it works.

i went to install ie8, and they offerd me ie9, so imk tryn out 9, have u got 9 yet?

Dont go for 9. Its in Beta, which means they are using you to test. There WILL be problems and you are not ready for that. Go with 8.
Personally, I dont go with Beta. I just want to enjoy. Let someone else do the testing.

Im using IE8 and I can see the page perfectly.

Are you having problems everywhere or only with the browser?

If it is what I think it is, bottom right, you can adjust size of what you see, using IE8.
