How do I delete a bookmark folder that won't delete?

I have this on my favorites bar and it will -not- delete. an 'HP' folder that is empty. can't rename it, can't seem to delete. any suggestions?

Try the easy way first, boot the computer.
If that does not work
Download and try ccleaner.

kudos to ardneh. you know, I use Firefox on the PC, and Chrome of course on my CR48. But I'd like to give IE a spin, and it was just the POINT that that file wouldn't leave. It coulda stayed there, but I wanted it gone gone gone. And IE wonders why they're losing market share.

i spoke too soon. it's gone from the 'favorites' bar, but still lives in the 'bookmarks' toolbar. nothing removes it. Meh.
