Since i installed the latest internet explorer, i no longer have automatic sign in
for windows live mail. I have multiple sclerosis and having to enter my email info
everytime is hard for me. Is there anyway I can have automatic sign in back and still use the new internet explorer.
Any help would be so appreciated, I can't figure it out, and it's driving me crazy!!!!!!!

You may not like my suggestions :

1. Uninstall IE9 ( it's not such a big deal anyway. I have it. ) > the system will automatically revert itself back to its previous IE version.
See if Windows Mail also gets back to normal auto-sign in.

2. Windows Mail (WM) has been replaced by Windows Live Mail (WLM) since 3 years ago.
Time to switch, perhaps ?
WLM is free to install.
WLM will co-exist with WM.
WLM, upon installing, will automatically copy all data from WM, i.e. messages, contact list etc.
You can use both WLM and WM for separate purposes. Just have to name one as default.

Windows Live Mail download – 2009 and 2011

2009 version :

2011 version :

NOTE : if you are used to Windows Mail, then WLM 2009 version is more preferrable for switching because you will see the same layout and hardly anything to adjust.
WLM 2011 has very different layout and it could be a nightmare looking just for the usual options.
I had 2011 version for 3 months and finally removed it and installed the older version.

Thank you for your advice. I went to the troubleshoot for windows mail and installed 2011 windows live essentials. I now have automatic sign in back. Thanks sooo much!!!!

Now if i could just figure out why when I start my computer, I have too wait a long time 5 mins. or so before I
can use the internet or go into my mail. If I try to use my mail or internet too soon, the computer freezes and
have to restart the computer. This is just since installing internet explorer 9.
What a pain in the @#%*!!!!!

Its not a connection issue, sounds like somethings fighting at startup.

It'll be a pain, but you might want to learn about msconfig
How to use MSCONFIG: NetSquirrel.com

And run through the selective startup.
