Solved Always Maximize Windows

Greetings to all! I have wondered for a very long time if there is some setting that would allow my windows to always open maximized. I spend a great deal of time over the years getting the cursor set to the middle box in the extreme upper right hand corner to expand the window. Most of the time it is not maximized. Is there a way to just make them all open maximized, all of the time?
Thank you for helping me, if you can.

Blessings to you,

Try this ......

For Windows Explorer i.e. Documents, Pictures, Music etc etc.....
Stretch the window with your cursor till you have it the size you want ( do not use the maximize button at the top right ) > close the window > re-open the same window.
It should open exactly the same size as you closed it.
Window remembers the size it was last closed.
As long as you don't change the size, it will from now on open the size you have selected.

For Internet Explorer......
Open Internet Explorer > stretch the window as you did above> press Ctrl key and HOLD > still holding, click File then click Exit ( note : do NOT use the red 'exit' button at the top right. )> re-open Internet Explorer.
It shoule open exactly the same size as it was last closed.
Note : if that does not work for you, substitute Ctrl key with Shift key.

This is an excellent free app that sits in the tray. Once you have a window the way you want, make it the active window by clicking on it, then hit the hotkey. Winsize2 will remember it and put it back when it opens. It will also let you move the window later. Meaning it doesn't fight you. It only changes the window position and size when the window first appears.

Forgive me, I thought I had already let you know that your answer hit the mark. Thank you. I don't have a clue however whether I have Windows Explorer or For Internet Explorer......
I guess it doesn't matter. Sorry it got so big here, I just copy/paste from your post above.
Also thank to ilikefree and also to Milesahead, which you certainly are since I don't have a clue what you were trying to convey with "winsize2 or a hotkey". Anyway, bless you all for your wonderful advise, it's working!

Thank you for replying.
The reason I wanted to be sure ( English is my 3rd language ) was because I want to ask the Mod to mark the thread as " solved " if indeed I had solved your question.
